Memory Upgrade

by Ravi on Nov.19, 2008, under General

If you read my earlier posts, you will now how a computer would do better when you have more memory installed in it. Memory on computers in short are scratch pads that the processors use to compute things. So the more you have got, the better it can be.

If you are using a Windows PC, with a superior processor and motherboard, and you use too much of graphics or heavy load programming, or works like data format conversion, no matter what the capacity of your processor it, you can never speed up these works without atleast a 4 GB memory installed in your computer. You can buy memory anywhere online and get a tech, or yourself have it installed in your PC.

If you already have got a 2 GB memory installed on your computer and would like another 2 GB stick that would give you an effective memory giving you a total of 4 GB of Ram, you could go for that as well.

DDR (1) or the first generation’s last mainstream chip speed was: PC3200 DDR400 (400MHz) SDRAM. This RAM had a rather long shelf life and many servers and desktop computers are still in use today. DDR400 prices are excellent these days and make for a great investment. PC3200 2GB SDRAM memory modules are a Memory Deal specialty. Memory Deal strives to maintain deep stock to support IT department needs for PC3200 DDR400 RAM needed for server upgrades. Many desktops were also purchased during the time of the DDR400 RAM era as well and Memory Deal has strength in upgrading the ever popular 1gb DDR400 desktop module. Providing an online source to buy PC3200 modules that are rock-solid is what we do, using only genuine factory memory modules, the same in your computer system now.

And so, you really need to think about going for a PC3200 DDR400 SDRAM Upgrade if you are looking for some real performance on your PC.

Memory Deal only specializes in genuine factory original modules at great values. Every Memory Deal module is the same quality grade that top OEMs like HP, IBM and Dell specify. All modules purchased from Memory Deal memory modules are the same modules that these computer OEMs use in their bill of materials when constructing a new server or computer at the factory. Sure folks are selling cheaper out there but not selling better quality modules for your computer. Memory Deal memory sells the latest technology from Samsung, Hynix, Qimonda, Micron, Elpida and Nanya. Using genuine factory original memory modules built by the DRAM manufacturers is what your computer or server was intended to use. Memory Deal is the best place on online to get exact RAM for your computer memory upgrade.

gOS hosted on Plesk? Look at the favicon

by Ravi on Oct.03, 2008, under General

the website of gOS which is thinkgos uses a favicon that comes with all new sites created on plesk. And how did the masters who modified ubuntu and gave it great eye candy miss that? Didn’t they have to put up the logo of gOS itself as the favicon? Or wouldn’t it have looked better without a favicon instead of putting up the favicon of plesk? People who might want to get a NC health insurance might not mind if they see the favicon of plesk on their websites, but something like gOS, an operating system that will be mostly used by techies. Didn’t they think that a web host would download and use it and would be surprised to find the logo of plesk as the favicon for the site. Pleask has changed it logo recently as well, when it became parallels. Looks like they haven’t checked their hosting in months together now. Hope the OS is not buggy.

Rocking Real Estate

by Ravi on Oct.03, 2008, under General

To describe the unstable real estate market in the United States now, we could always use the word rocking. Unstable things rock, dont they? Well, this rocking position has put all banks in the US and almost all around the world into a very bad state, and every one is in troubld. Looks like the banks in Japan are coming forward to take over failing banks in the US, and Outer Banks  always change the brand name of the products and make them their own. So if citi bank fails, and if some japanese bank comes forward and takes over the bank, there will be no citibank around, but it would be something like yokosuna bank or a yokahoma bank or possibly something else with a flat nosed name.

Disney land in Hong Kong

by Ravi on Oct.03, 2008, under General

Kids who are lucky enough to get educated parents with a decent sum of money stashed away in banks and have are lucky enough to go to decent schools would always want to go to places like the Disney Land during their summer vacations. And until recently people of the upper middle class had difficulty in taking kids to the United States to show them Disney Land. But recently as Disnely Land has opened in Hong Kong, a place that is only about 6 hours away from India, at a pretty low cost, families can now go to Hong Kong, spend a week there, visit disney land, go on Disney cruises, and come back after a week and talk about it back home to the less lucky people about the wonderful week of the year that they had in Hong Kong, to the relatively unlucky people within their family or in their school.
